Admission Information
St. Dennis School does not have a waiting list in most grade levels at this time. In order to provide equal opportunity for all families, parents are to call the office and request a Letter of Intent to be mailed to their home after their child's third birthday. The Letters of Intent are kept on file until partents either request that the letter be removed from the file, or until the student is admitted (whichever comes first).
St. Dennis School does not discriminate or deny admission based on race, color, sec, national or ethnic origin, or physical disabilities.
Kindergarten - admission criteria.
  1. The child's family are registered members of St. Dennis School.
  2. The child has sibling(s) who are already enrolled at St. Dennis School.
  3. The child has sibling(s) who have previously graduated from St. Dennis School.
  4. The child's family are active parish members. (A list of volunteer activities is available for review.)
  5. The child has parent(s) who have attended St. Dennis School.
  6. The child's family are registered members of a Catholic parish that does not have an existing Catholic school.
For grades 1 through 8, in addition to the above criteria, school records from the previous school must be submitted before the time of registration. After reviewing records, parents and the prospective student will be asked to meet the Principal and discuss the expectations of the school.
Enrollment status is determined by the St. Dennis School Principal, along with two volunteers who are selected by the Principal, in corsultation with the Pastor of St. Dennis Parish. The volunteer members of the Admissions Committee may not have a family member seeking enrollment. The committee, in consultation with the Pastor, is authorized to use its judgement when special circumstances arise.
