GIFT includes event-centered sessions for people of all ages to deepen their understanding of the basic themes of their Catholic faith. GIFT involves all generations in learning and growing together through their experience and participation in church life. GIFT empowers all to life their faith in the parish, at home and in the world.

Rich Donnelly – Major League Coach
In 1997, the Florida Marlins were locked in one of the tightest World Series games ever. Game 7, two outs in the bottom of the 11th inning, the Marlins were tied. A lot of things would be going through a coach’s mind at a time like this. But for Rich Donnelly, one of the most experienced coaches in major league baseball, he undoubtedly was also thinking about his biggest fan ever, his daughter Amy, who just five short years earlier, died of a brain tumor. How he wished she could be here with him! But what was about to happen to Rich Donnelly would change his life forever. His supernatural story will shock and amaze you, strengthening your faith in ways you never thought possible!
Ken Lonnquist – Singer/Songwriter
Ken wears a lot of different musical hats – singer, songwriter and entertainer. He is with us each January with the musical Old Befana and was with us for the January GIFT session last year. Ken will join us again this year as the presenter for our breakout session involving children grades K through 5.

Jared Hall - Illusionist
There was a time in his life that doing illusion got Jared into detention. Now it gets him into places where otherwise the truth of God might not be heard. Jared Hall will keep you on the edge of your seat as he makes audience members float, performs a straight jacket escape, or simply amazes you with extraordinary card tricks. The illusions that Jared performs don’t just entertain and capture the attention of the audience, but are great tools to illustrate the message of the Gospel as well. Jared appeals to people of all ages with his ability to captivate the attention of the audience quickly through humor and exciting illusions. His presentation of the gospel of Jesus Christ, however, is no illusion.

Bob Stromberg – Comedian/Playwright/Author
By 1989, Bob Stromberg decided to go solo, after performing over 4000 shows as the comedy duo “Stromberg & Cooper.” He co-authored the hit play, Triple Espresso (a highly caffeinated comedy), which has opened in dozens of cities from Seattle to London to Munich, sustaining record setting runs in many of them. The St. Paul Pioneer Press said, “Stromberg is a bit like a cross between Bob Newhart and Garrison Keillor.” Bob’s latest book, Why Gee Fly Farther Than Eagles, has become a best-seller. Bob is sure to delight all ages with his special wit and humor. Join us for a special time of joy and laughter!
